Ruger Revolvers Home

The Ruger Arms produced Ruger revolvers got their start in 1953 when William B. Ruger began making some of these wonderful Ruger firearms. Ruger then produced a series of revolvers after seeing the popularity of the first Ruger single six revolvers make such a mark on the industry. Shortly followed by the Ruger Blackhawk and later Ruger Super Blackhawk took the Ruger Revolver to the next level.

Ruger began producing single action revolvers, but due to popular demand Ruger began the production of a series of double action revolvers. The Ruger hunter and Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan are amoung the new comers, with the old Ruger know how. With almost a century of firearms experiance Ruger Arms revolvers are showing no signs of slowing to the changing market.

During the cowboy shooting craze Ruger Old Army models began to become a stable firearm for these otherwise unconventional firearms competitions and shoots.
